Online Class Terms
This course is not designed for you to move backward by using your browser's Back button, nor for you to have the course opened in multiple browser windows. By using this site and enrolling in any course offered AGSI. you certify the following:
- I certify under penalty of perjury that I am the person who will complete this course.
- I will study all of the security training course materials supplied by AGSI. and I will review all of the course material, watch all of the course videos, listen to all voiceovers, follow all of the steps on the course pages, and take the final exam without the help of anyone else.
I also understand that if it is determined that:
- I used outside assistance to complete the course, quizzes or final exam, I had another person take the quizzes or final exam for me, or I made false statements or presented false documents to the State of California or AGSI, that it is a crime and punishable by law as a felony in addition to possible civil penalties. I also understand that I would forfeit all of my course tuition and that any completion of the course will not be accepted by the State of California, Department of Consumer Affairs, Bureau of Security and Investigative Services for violating any of these terms.
- I also understand the course is not completed until AGSI. receives my original copy of the final exam and signed Acknowledgement Verification Form and the final exam has a passing grade of at least 100% correct answers. If I do not score a passing grade on the final exam, I understand that I must re-review the course pages and re-take the examination.
- I understand that I must allow sufficient time for this process: reviewing all of the course material, submitting the final exam, sending the answer sheet and acknowledgement form to American Guardian Security, Inc. and potentially re-taking the final exam prior to receiving my course completion certificate and therefore being eligible to apply for any related licensing. As such, AGSI. recommends that I complete the course and submit the necessary documentation at least 3 days prior to the date I wish to submit my application to the State of California for any potential licensing
- I understand that I will not receive a hard copy of my certificate. Instead, I will receive an electronic copy of my course completion certificate via email I provided in file. If I would like to receive a hardcopy of my course completion certificate, I must send an email to info@americanguardiansecurity.com indicating what you need and where you would like it sent. There is no fee charged to you for such for shipping and handling within California.
- In addition, I certify that all the registration information I entered is true and correct to the best of my knowledge. If I believe any of my information may be incorrect, or it changes during the time I am taking the course, I will call AGSI. to have this corrected prior to completing the final exam. I understand that inaccurate or incomplete course completion documents as a result of incorrect information that I have supplied are NOT the responsibility of American Guardian Security, Inc. and I acknowledge that any such delays that I may experience as a result of such are my responsibility and not that of AGSI. I understand that errors made during registration may cause a delay in the processing of my certificate, and that supplying an incorrect email address will result in my not receiving my certificate and will result in a delay in your application to the state, neither of which is the responsibility American Guardian Security, Inc.
- I am aware that American Guardian Security, Inc. business practice regarding processing and returning the Certificate of Completion is as follows: Certificates will be processed and sent to my email address on file the same day as I complete the course, ONLY IF I successfully complete and pass my final exam (with verification) before the hour of 5:00pm PST.
- I also understand that I am responsible for following up with the American Guardian Security, Inc. if I have not received my certificate, and I agree to hold American Guardian Security, Inc. harmless for any reasonable delays that may occur in the issuance of my certificate.
- I also understand that American Guardian Security, Inc. will not be held responsible for any delays in your application to the state for any licensing. It is my complete responsibility to submit any and all applicable applications and registrations to the State, and not the responsibility of American Guardian Security, Inc.
- I also aware that if I fail to successfully complete my course and exam, I will not receive any refunds whatsoever. Once I pay for any course, I am responsible for completing the course and any applicable minimum hours and final examinations will be completed by me before I receive any related course completion certificate.
- I hold American Guardian Security, Inc. harmless for late receipt of my certificate.
- I understand that it is my responsibility to complete the course with enough time to get my certificate of completion. American Guardian Security, Inc. will make every effort to process certificates as defined in their business practices, excluding any actions out of their power to control.
- I also understand that if I require a duplicate certificate of completion, I must pay an additional reasonable charge.
- The information in this course is accurate to the best of our knowledge. It may be incorrect or an opinion. The student is advised to refer to the CA BSIS for exact accuracy. The publisher makes no warranty, expressed or implied with respect to the use of any information. Publisher also does not assume any liabilities or responsibilities, expressed or implied, with respect to the use of, or for damages resulting from, the use of any information, method, or process disclosed in the course.
- If I abandon the course and/or it is later determined that I am ineligible to apply for any related licensing with any organization, no refund will be issued by American Guardian Security, Inc. I also understand that it is my responsibility to verify court requirements with the appropriate School.
- By agreeing to this User Statement, I am stating that I will study all of the material that is associated with the course I am taking, completed all of the quizzes as well as the final exam at the end of the course on my own.
Choice of Law And Jurisdiction.
American Guardian Security, Inc. is operated in Los Angeles County, California. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, the County of Los Angeles. Any and all legal claims arising from your use of site and/or use of any of American Guardian Security, Inc. online classes must be under the jurisdiction of the applicable court located in the County of Los Angeles in the State of California.
We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time without notice, and you agree to abide by the most recent version of these terms of use, terms and conditions, privacy policy, user agreement, and the like each time you view and use the Website. Additional Terms / Online Classes
We do not provide any refunds for any reason. Do not register for the course if you do not agree to adhere to this policy. You will not receive any refunds. If you proceed with registering and proceed with providing payment, you agree and understand that no refunds will be granted for any reason. Nor refunds are granted for any reason, which includes, but is not limited to a situation where you later determine you are ineligible to receive the associated license or permit associated with the course, you take the course elsewhere, you realize you no longer wish to take the course, and the like.
As such, you and the person or persons whom provide payment for your course fees expressly acknowledge your understanding to this / acknowledge your understanding that no refunds will be granted. As such, you expressly waive your right to contest/dispute/file a chargeback claim with the third party merchant service provider (Google Checkout or Wallet) for any charge or charges you authorize in part or in full for an online course offered by American Guardian Security, Inc.
Nonetheless, it never hurts to ask! If you would like to request a refund for any course, you agree that you will email ivan@americanguardiansecurity.com with “Online Course Refund Request” in the subject line of the email. Further, in the body of the email, you agree that you will provide a detailed explanation of the basis for your refund request.
However, we reserve the exclusive right to deny any refund request with or without stating a reason consistent with these terms and conditions and the overall terms and policies of our website. Further, in the event that you or the person do request a refund for any reason and we deny the request, you and the person or persons whom provide payment for your course fees agree to except this denial as a final adjudication as to the charge. As such, you agree
Further, irrespective of the outcome of a chargeback request filed through a third party merchant service provider and/or your credit/debit card financial institution provider, you agree that a $30.00 fee will automatically be assessed against you by American Guardian Security, Inc. This fee covers, in part, the costs and expenses associated with the time and efforts required to research and respond to the claim. The $30.00 assessment by no means covers the entire cost of the research and other related expenses, and American Guardian Security, Inc. reserves all rights to pursue any and all remedies, in equity or in law, to cover any additional costs and expenses above and beyond $30.00 related to the chargeback, including, but not limited to, the collection of the full disputed amount, the time expended in responding to a claim, the cost of collection, and other related costs, damages, expenses, and the like.
Further, you agree that any and all non-payments and/or amounts associated with a Chargeback that are not paid back to American Guardian Security, Inc. may be turned over to a collection agency, which will seek payment from you.

You understand that inaccurate or incomplete course completion documents as a result of incorrect information that you have supplied are NOT the responsibility of American Guardian Security, Inc. and you acknowledge that any such delays that you may experience as a result of such are your exclusive responsibility and not that of American Guardian Security, Inc.
You understand that errors made during registration may cause a delay in the processing of my certificate, that supplying an incorrect email address will result in my not receiving your certificate and will result in a delay in your application to the state, neither of which is the responsibility American Guardian Security, Inc.
You acknowledge that you aware that American Guardian Security, Inc. business practice regarding processing and returning the Certificate of Completion is as follows:
We make every reasonable effort to provide completion certificates and other informational emails in the shortest amount of time possible. This includes the initial course email just after enrollment, the exam verification and ID request email after you complete a final exam, and also the email to which your completion certificate is attached. However, American Guardian Security, Inc. manually processes these steps in order to ensure the integrity of the pre-licensing education process. As such, these processes are not instantaneous. Further, you agree to allow up to 72-hour of turn around time to allow American Guardian Security, Inc. to process these requests. In most cases, the maximum amount of time you will wait is 4 to 6 hours, but we nonetheless reserve the right to take up to 72 hours to process the noted requests and any other related requests. Note that completion certificates will be processed and sent to your email address on file.
You also understand that you are exclusively responsible for following up with American Guardian Security, Inc. if you have not received you completion certificate, and you agree to hold American Guardian Security, Inc. harmless for any reasonable delays that may occur in the issuance of your certificate.
You also understand that American Guardian Security, Inc. will not be held responsible for any delays in your application to the state for any licensing. It is your complete responsibility to submit any and all applicable applications and registrations to the State, and not the responsibility of American Guardian Security, Inc. AGSI is a private training facility and does not issue licenses that are issued by the State of California. You understand that you are responsible for knowing and adhering to the laws regarding the respective license or permit for which you are taking the course and that American Guardian Security, Inc. is not responsible to any level or extent with regard to this/these process/processes.
As noted with regard to refunds, we remind you that you are also aware that failing to successfully complete a course and exam DOES NOT ENTITLE YOU or anyone who provided payment on your behalf to I will not receive any refunds whatsoever. Once you pay for the course, there are no refunds even if you abandon the course or determine you are ineligible. I agree to indemnify and defend American Guardian Security, Inc. in the event that I dispute any payments and/or in the event that the person or persons whom provided payment for my course fees dispute a charge. Failure to do so will result in American Guardian Security, Inc. pursing any and all remedies associated with such.

You are responsible for making sure your computer, software, or device you intend to take the course with is compatible with our course. As such, you will not receive a refund in the event the course is not compatible with your system. we strongly suggest clearing your browser's cookies and cache periodically to ensure the course functions properly with your browser and that your time is properly tracked.
Communications Between Students and American Guardian Security, Inc.
Although American Guardian Security, Inc. may be available via telephone to assist you, AGSI reserves the right to communicate with you exclusively by email. As such, the only way to help ensure a response is to email us at info@americanguardiansecuirty.com and include a detailed explanation of your reason for contacting us. Further, you acknowledge that it may take a considerable amount of time for us to respond, if at all. We recommend using a GMAIL address for all courses you register for and for all communications with us. Other email providers have less reliable methods of sorting emails they believe are “spam” and will oftentimes sort our emails into your spam folder when in fact they are not spam. As such, in addition to using a GMAIL address, we always recommend checking your spam folder on a regular basis to ensure that our communications to you are not in the spam folder. You expressly agree that you are exclusively responsible for ensuring your ISP accepts our emails and will hold harmless American Guardian Security, Inc. for any delays resulting from your ISP sorting our emails to you into a spam folder or blocking our emails all together.
